Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22
People often talk about obeying God, but what does that mean? It means to turn your will (desires, actions, thoughts) over to God and let Him direct them. How do I do that? you may ask, by learning what His will is for your life. Read the Word of God, pray, join discipleship groups and bible studies to learn how to live a life ran by God. Will this life be perfect? No, but it will have love, joy, peace, favor, and abundance. It will be a life that will be richer and deeper, a life where you will be whole (from the inside out). Want to know what to do about that relationship, job, school, move, ministry, etc? Get in God and be in sync with Him and join his rhythmic life , so then you can hear him say, "When I move, you move, just like that!"

Taking It To The Streets!
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 18:19-20
There comes a time in our lives when we have to stretch out and do something for someone else. We can't just focus on ourselves all the time. Stepping out of our churches, homes, and comfort zones will empower us to make a difference in the world. We can go out and make disciples (spreading the gospel of God), but we must also volunteer, and help others in need. Helping others, helps you. You will be able to focus on something and someone other than yourself and feel the satisfaction of seeing change in the lives of others. So, step out of your routine. Start a new project, volunteer at the Children's Hospital, feed the hungry for the holidays, help a friend or family member in need. Whatever you do, be the change you want to see in the world and take it to the streets!

Fear is a Liar!
Fear is a Liar- so stop believing what it says! Be courageous and create the life you want based on truth!
I've Got This!
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
So many times in our lives we declare "I got this", which means, I am in control, I can handle the situation, and all is well. But, the truth is, we have to give up control in order for our lives to work. Who do we give control to? The one who knows all and is all- God. As we partner with Him and allow our desires, dreams, and endeavors to align with his will for our lives, we can shout with all assurance- "I've Got This!" because He has me.

Help! I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up!
Hebrews 11:1 states, " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen."
Oftentimes, we lose our ground because we have an unstable foundation. Through trials, heartaches, disappointments we are not as stable as we used to be. Why? Because we have lost our faith in God. We started having faith in the things, situations, and our desires, not on what God promised. Have you ever heard people declare, such and such is my husband or wife? God could have promised them a mate, but they have put their personal desire for the object of their affection on the Word of God. So, when it turns out not to be that particular person, they find themselves being mad at God or losing faith in God because "their word" did not manifest. So, trust God and His specific promise to you and try not to add anything to it. Remember, when you have faith in the giver of the promise and watch His word manifest in your life, you are on stable ground and you win!
