Hebrews 11:1 states, " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen."
Oftentimes, we lose our ground because we have an unstable foundation. Through trials, heartaches, disappointments we are not as stable as we used to be. Why? Because we have lost our faith in God. We started having faith in the things, situations, and our desires, not on what God promised. Have you ever heard people declare, such and such is my husband or wife? God could have promised them a mate, but they have put their personal desire for the object of their affection on the Word of God. So, when it turns out not to be that particular person, they find themselves being mad at God or losing faith in God because "their word" did not manifest. So, trust God and His specific promise to you and try not to add anything to it. Remember, when you have faith in the giver of the promise and watch His word manifest in your life, you are on stable ground and you win!

The Greatest Love of All
The place of my greatest pain, is the place where I find the greatest love of all- God's love for me! Inspired by Pursued Conference by Shannon Yvette Tanner. www.inspiredtruthtv.com
Are We There Yet?
Proverbs 4:26 states, "Ponder the path of your feet and let all your ways be established."
We often ask ourselves, "Where am I going?", "what am I doing?" We often ask these questions and then look outward for the answers, when in fact they are within us. Its not found in our relationships, career, friends, and achievements.Through prayer and stillness, allow the answers to come. Allow your innermost being ( Holy Spirit) to lead and guide you to all truth. And then you shall know the truth, and it shall make you free. The path will not be perfect, but it will be right for you...safe journeys!

Sick of Being Sick...I am Healed
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9
There are times in our lives when we will be sick. Physical sickness, emotional sickness, spiritual sickness, etc... But what do you do when your sickness is continual or in several areas at one time? When you're tired of being sick and want some relief? What we may find ourselves doing is complaining, arguing, feeling depressed, being mad at God and man, and living stagnant lives. But, that is not the proper response to these tough situations. I am going to share with you some ways to move from sickness to health in your inner man, so that your outer man can also be healed.

I am going to share with you some ways to move from sickness to health in your inner man, so that your outer man can also be healed.
- Make God number one in your life- Sometimes the reason we are sick is because of bad choices. Our choices have had led to consequences that are manifesting in our lives. But, one way to change our choices is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and realize he is the ultimate help and answer.
- Get some Inspiration- There are many ways we can get inspired in whatever state we are in. Read your bible, pray, read a devotional, read an autobiography of someone that inspires you, and listen to inspirational or gospel music. Tap into the positive. fill your day with songs and words that will change how you look at your situation and life. Incorporate a song and scripture of the day or week. See how focusing on something positive and enlightening will change you.
- Renew your mind- The bible says we are transformed by the renewing of our mind. So, our thoughts have to change. Change to what? Change to think what God says about us and life. Let our thoughts be led by His principles and watch how your choices and actions change.
- Have a wellness plan- When we go to the doctor along with a diagnosis he gives us an action plan to make things better. We have to have this in every area of our lives. A plan to get out of debt, a diet plan, a spiritual plan. Having strategies and goals will allow us to have a road-map in which to get to healing. Consistency brings change.
- Be accountable- Many times we can have points 1-4 done, but unless we are accountable to someone we find ourselves slipping back into old habits and ways of thinking. We need to reach out to those that are where we want to be or those on their own journey to wellness and team up to be accountable about our process. Someone that we can check-in with on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The more accountable you are, the easier and more successful your journey to wellness with be.
- Realize that His grace is Sufficient- If you mess up, fall off the plan, revert to old habits, realize that God's grace is sufficient for you. Get back up again and start it again. Don't let discouragement, shame, guilt, and fear keep you bound. Examine what made you get off track, learn from it and get back on your wellness plan. And this time on the journey you will be wiser and stronger.

I've Got to Get Myself Together- Faith Over Fear
Yesterday my husband preached a sermon titled "Faith Overcoming Fear" and it made me see how some of us are driven and live our lives from a fear - based place. Fear is a place where we are stagnant, angry, hurt, anxious, tired, and self-sabotaging. Living like this is not God's plan for our lives. In him we can have life and it more abundantly. But,how do I get to this life when fear has consumed me and gripped me for so long? Well, I am going to discuss three ways we can have victory over fear and Get Ourselves Together to live our best lives.
Deuteronomy 31:6- " Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
- Be present- This moment is all we have. We have to make the most of our moments and stop wasting time with negative thoughts, energy, self-talk, and actions. We need to take every thought captive and turn the positive into a negative to create a powerful present moment.
- Seek God and His will for your life- God has to be first in our lives in order for our lives to be prosperous and meaningful. We have to learn to seek his will through prayer, fasting, and reading the Bible. We have to examine our choices and see if they line up with God's principles and plans for us. If you feel unsure after praying, fasting, and reading the Bible, then seek Godly counsel from wise people. And remember after receiving the counsel, pray again about the situation.God is faithful to send revelation and confirmation to your situation for you to make the best choice.
- Do It Afraid- We have to learn to use our fears as motivation. As fuel to propel us forward to our destiny. We have to step out in Faith, knowing that God has our backs and even if we don't reach our goal, there will be precious life lessons and experiences that will cause us to grow and be better. Trust God, not what you feel and Just do it!
Deuteronomy 31:6- " Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Judgment, Who Has the Right to Judge?
3Friends, when life gets really difficult, don't jump to the conclusion that God isn't on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner.
14-16If you're abused because of Christ, count yourself fortunate. It's the Spirit of God and his glory in you that brought you to the notice of others. If they're on you because you broke the law or disturbed the peace, that's a different matter. But if it's because you're a Christian, don't give it a second thought. Be proud of the distinguished status reflected in that name!
17-19It's judgment time for God's own family. We're first in line. If it starts with us, think what it's going to be like for those who refuse God's Message!
If good people barely make it,
What's in store for the bad?
So if you find life difficult because you're doing what God said, take it in stride. Trust him. He knows what he's doing, and he'll keep on doing it.
I Peter 4:12-19, The Message Bible
As the scriptures says, there will be difficult times in our lives. Times when things get hard. In those times we must depend on Him for our help and strength. Reach out to other Godly friends and family members. What happens usually is when we find ourselves in tight spots or sinful situations, we run away from God and His people. But, what we really should be doing is running hard towards Him and His people! That is where you will receive strength, comfort, forgiveness, love, joy, peace, and revelation of why you are in the situation. The enemy does not want us to get to the bottom of our issues, it wants to keep us running from truth and repeating destructive and harmful behavior. But, always remember push past your fear, hurt, shame, doubt, guilt, and anger, and run into the safety of God.
Who has the right to judge? God does, and sometimes when we are around those that follow Him, their presence judges us more than their words ever could. Sometimes when we are around believers, conviction comes and for some odd reason, we think they know everything we have done!?! But in reality, they sometimes know nothing. Allow God to love you through them and let them help you carry your load.Find someone who can love you and support you and never try to be the Lone Ranger, even he had a side-kick! As the scripture says, its hard for the believer, so run to the place of safety and peace and let God heal you.
